Who we are

Greenstead Church isn't a building, it's a group of people.

We come from different backgrounds, we’ve had different experiences, but we all believe the same message - that Jesus Christ is the only person who can bring us true forgiveness, hope and life.

That's why everything we do as a church is all about him!

What we’re about

Jesus

We believe the good news that Jesus Christ lived the perfect life we could never live, died the death we all deserve, and then rose to life so that all who trust in him can receive forgiveness, freedom and life forever with God.

Community

We believe the church is not a building, it’s a family. And as a family we are called to love each other, and our community, in the same way Jesus loves us.

Mission

We believe that because Jesus is the best news ever, everyone should have a chance to hear about him. Our mission as a church is therefore to make Jesus known to people in our communities, City, and across the world!

What we believe

We are a Christian, Independent, evangelical church. That means we believe in the historic Christian faith expressed in the Apostles Creed & Nicene Creed, & we subscribe to the FIEC statement of faith. We believe the Bible is sufficient for all of life and all our ministry is Bible-centred.

In essential beliefs, we have unity (Ephesians 4:4-6).
In non-essential beliefs, we have
liberty (Romans 14).
In all our beliefs, we show
love (1 Corinthians 13:2).
